Abstract: With the increasingly intelligent degree of machine tools in the equipment manufacturing industry, the number of controllable axes of high-end CNC machine tools is also increasing, and composite machine tools with a variety of processing capabilities have gradually emerged. Tool library plays an important role in its use process, and in frequent use, there will inevitably be a variety of failures, if the failure is not eliminated in time, it will seriously affect the processing efficiency of parts. Based on the analysis of the common faults of EMCO HYPERTURN 665MC turning and milling complex machining center, the paper eliminates the faults combined with the actual situation, analyzes the faults of the tool library, the manipulator and the maintenance suggestions, and provides guidance for the actual maintenance operation.

EMCO HYPERTURN 665MC Turning and Milling complex center is a multi-functional CNC machine tool that integrates the functions of turning, milling, drilling, boring, grinding, etc. It is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of high precision and high efficiency. Therefore, the requirements for the operator are further increased, not only requiring the operator to operate the machine, but also to learn programming and common fault handling. Tool library is an important part of EMCO HYPERTURN 665MC Turning and milling complex machining center (hereinafter referred to as "665MC turning and milling complex machining center"). In the processing of complex high-precision cutting-edge parts, the types of tools used are complex and numerous, and the tool is frequently called. The tool library not only improves the machining efficiency of parts, but also improves the machining efficiency of parts. It also avoids the situation that parts are scrapped and even accidents caused by artificial replacement of the wrong knife. Taking 665MC turning and milling complex machining center as an example, this paper analyzes the common faults of the tool bank, and puts forward the effective maintenance scheme to provide the basis for related research.

2.1 Tool store does not turn

① The coupling connecting the motor spindle and the sprocket shaft is loose, if it is loose, the coupling should be tightened, and the coupling should be replaced in the case of serious wear. ② Whether the motor can work normally, if damaged, it needs to be repaired or replaced in time.

2.2 The tool store rotates normally but the positioning is inaccurate

① The knife motor rotation fault. It mainly exists in the motor output Angle, which needs to be reset for maintenance. (2) Transmission mechanism error, the main need to regularly check the transmission of the tool library, including repeated positioning accuracy, two-way back and forth tool positioning accuracy. When the transmission accuracy of the tool store exceeds the deviation, timely maintenance is needed.

2.3 The Upper Tool Tower loose tool is faulty

① The spindle does not receive the loose cutter signal. You need to check whether the induction switch is normal. If it is abnormal, replace it. ② Check whether the hydraulic circuit of the hydraulic solenoid valve is normal, whether there is leakage and other phenomena, if there is a need to replace it in time. ③ Whether the ejector rod is bent and deformed, whether the locking mechanism can work normally, and whether the elasticity of the spring clamp head is within the qualified range. This kind of problem is a mechanical failure, more intuitive, easy to repair or replace. ④ The air pressure is not enough, the wall of the spindle tube is too dirty and sticky, and the air pressure needs to be adjusted to clean the spindle.
