On October 24, the groundbreaking ceremony of 125,000 tons (1250MN) multi-direction die forging hydraulic press and intelligent production line project was held at Xi 'an Aviation Base. Fang Hongwei, member of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Xi 'an Municipal Party Committee, Ye Niuping, Mayor of Xi 'an, Niu Kai, Secretary of Yanliang District Party Committee of relevant municipal departments, He Yongyong, Executive Vice President of the School of Mechanics of Tsinghua University, and customer representatives of aviation industry, China Aviation Development, ComAC and other units attended the opening ceremony.
This project is another example of deepening industry-university-research cooperation between Xi 'an City and Tsinghua University, and is a key technology platform to solve the large precision die forging required for the development of important national models. The project will build the world's largest hydraulic press, and will become another landmark equipment of China's industrial strength, which is of great significance to accelerate the high-quality development of China's aviation, aerospace and nuclear power industries, and create "new quality productivity" of aviation advanced manufacturing.
The project is jointly funded by Triangle Defense, Xidou Holdings, Xi 'an Industrial Investment, Shaanxi Industrial Investment and Yanliang District (Aviation Base), Xi 'an Triple Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. as the implementation body, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan and a land area of 267 mu, and is planned to be completed in December 2026. By then, Xi 'an Aviation Industry Base will become the world's largest aviation forging gathering area, the total forging capacity of the equipment will reach 230,000 tons. After the project is fully achieved, the annual output value is expected to exceed 5 billion yuan, which will drive the coordinated development of Xi 'an titanium alloy, superalloy, ultra-high strength steel and other industries, and form an advanced manufacturing cluster for aerospace, Marine weapons, nuclear power equipment and other parts.
125,000 tons multi-direction die forging hydraulic press and intelligent production line developed by Tsinghua University, the equipment vertical nominal pressure of 110,000 tons, the horizontal nominal pressure of 12,500 tons, with multi-direction precision forging capacity and ordinary forging capacity, with constant strain rate forging and other advanced control mode. After the completion of the equipment, it will play a supporting role in the development of large forgings for key types of military aircraft and civil large passenger aircraft in China, and help the high-quality development of aerospace, shipbuilding, nuclear power and other fields.
